On 3rd May, a Reading Bee contest was held for the first time in our school.
 The contest was directed at every 9th year student. Reading Bee was about reading “Billy Elliot”, then we had to answer 20 multiple choice questions and one last question about our own opinion of the book.

At the end, the three best tests elected the best “Bee Readers”, as follows:

• 1^st place – Débora Malheiro, 9º1
• 2^nd place – Sofia Silva             9º3
• 3^rd place – Beatriz Nobre       9º1

This wasagreat idea,becausewe weremotivatedto read the book for other reasons and not just for the classroom, also we were able to explore the book with more detail and we had fun at the same time. It was a different reading experience.
