For the second consecutive year, our school had its Pancake Race last February 23rd. This year, 10 teams from 3 classes (7º1, 7º5 and 8º1) showed their skills at running and flipping pancakes, cheered by their enthusiastic supporters.

At the last minute two of these supporters, also teachers, Ms. Carla Piedade and Ms. Carla Coelho, begged to join two teams and compete with them.

Fun, energy and fair play reigned again for 1 ½ hours. And yes, there’s a winning team: Joana Braga, Joana Ferreira, Henrique Mendes and Ricardo Esteves, from class 8º1.

Congratulations to the winners! Thanks to all the teams, supporters and teachers who contributed to the success of this year’s race. We all look forward to next year’s Pancake Race, which will bring some surprises.
